CCC recognizes that Teens with special needs could benefit from more than just their dedicated parents energy and love. Like any teenager, they need a place to be themselves where they can connect with other teens. These monthly sessions will be in collaboration with CCC’s Teen Leadership Program, where volunteer teens from the community will be hand selected, and matched up with these young adults. This safe environment is a place where friendships can be created on similarities instead of differences.

Connecting with Friends is a FREE* monthly program where teens with special needs can meet, hang out, and socialize with typical teens. It is a place where friendships will be fostered – they will give, learn and grow together and as individuals.  Each month, dinner will be served and a different activity will be available: Karaoke, arts and crafts, movie night and more.
